National Medical Products Administration (former China Food and Drug Administration) is a member of the International Medical Devices Regulators Forum (IMDRF) and is the Chair for 2018. National Medical Products Administration (former China Food and Drug Administration) is responsible for hosting IMDRF's Management Committee (MC) 13th and 14th meetings in March and September 2018.
IMDRF was formed in 2011 and is comprised of ten regulatory authorities: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, Japan, Russia, Singapore, South Korea and the United States. It is a voluntary group which has come together with the goal of accelerating international medical device regulatory harmonization and convergence by building on the foundational work of the Global Harmonization Task Force.
The 14th MC meeting will include an open stakeholder day for external stakeholders to receive updates from the MC members and IMDRF working group chairs on their regulatory frameworks and work items, respectively. The open stakeholder day for 2018 will take place at Beijing Chang Fu Gong New Otani Hotel on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Those who wish to attend must complete and send the registration form to the IMDRF secretariat (imdrfsecretariat@ccfdie.org or imdrfsecretariat@163.com) for submission. Once your registration is recognized, we will send you a confirmation letter via email from early September.
